The Baratza Sette Drop Down Portafilter Holder is designed for hands free grinding into a portafilter on the Baratza Sette 30, and it can also be used on Sette 270, 270W, and 270Wi models when you are grinding larger doses into a portafilter basket. By increasing the vertical distance between the discharge chute and the basket, it helps the grinder handle bigger portafilter loads more smoothly.
Because the Sette grinds at very high speed, larger doses can sometimes cause grounds to back up in the chute. The Drop Down PortaHolder is designed to reduce that risk and help prevent clogging, especially when grinding roughly 20 to 23 grams or more into a portafilter. It is a practical upgrade for espresso routines that rely on fast grinding and hands free workflow.
