Built from non-porous borosilicate glass (the same material used in laboratory glassware), the Six Cup Classic won't absorb odours, chemical residues, or off-flavours — so every brew tastes exactly the way it should. The polished wood collar and leather tie give it that warm, tactile finish that makes it feel as good to hold as it is to look at. Each coffeemaker is individually inspected, polished, and hand-tied by the CHEMEX® team before it ships.

Pair it with CHEMEX filters for a pour over experience that removes oils, bitterness, acidity, and sediment that other brewing methods leave behind. What you're left with is a clean, smooth, incredibly flavourful cup — every single time. Made a little too much? No problem. Just cover the carafe and pop it in the fridge. No extra containers needed.

Note: CHEMEX® filters are required for use with this coffeemaker and are sold separately. Always rinse your filter with hot water before brewing — this removes any paper taste and pre-warms the carafe for a better cup.

Cleaning & Care:

A CHEMEX® Coffeemaker Cleaning Brush makes hand washing easy as it reaches right down to the bottom of the carafe. Pair with Urnex Cafiza for a deeper clean.
The Six Cup Classic is dishwasher safe - just remove the wood collar and leather tie before loading. To avoid breakage, make sure the carafe is secure and not bumping up against other dishes.
