The "Plus" in Filtration: Active Hygiene

While the upper part of the cartridge uses ion exchange and active carbon to filter water as you brew, the base of the CLARIS Smart+ features a specialized capsule. Through the natural movement of water, active ingredients are continuously released to prevent limescale deposits from forming at the bottom of your water tank. This dual-action approach maximizes cleanliness and protects your machine's internal fluid system.

Intelligent Water System (I.W.S.)

Equipped with RFID technology, the CLARIS Smart+ and your JURA coffee machine communicate automatically. The machine recognizes when a filter is inserted and immediately activates the correct mode. It tracks the exact amount of water filtered and will prompt you when it is time for a replacement. If the filter is not changed in time, the machine will smartly switch to descaling mode to ensure the heating elements remain protected.
