How to Use:

1. Place your finger between the 3rd and 4th layer of the filter and open it into a funnel shape.
2. Place the funnel in the top portion of your CHEMEX® coffeemaker, with 3 layers on the side with the spout.
3. The spout acts as an air vent, allowing air to escape the lower section so coffee draws down at the proper rate.
4. Gently pour hot water through and around the filter to rinse, then discard the rinse water.
5. Add your coffee grounds and brew.
